Mission

To compile a collection of information about contemporary and historically important new media art organizations, recurring events and festivals. To create a sortable data structure of attributes related to the research collection. To provide a resource for the globally connected new media art community.

Criteria for inclusion

All organizations, recurring events and festivals that support and exhibit new media art, including those which are physically localized, or online and locationless and currently or formerly active, with at least two years of active programming.

Text in the articles

All article text is copied from outside websites, typically the entity's own about page, which is linked in the references section. The aim is to capture the essential information to understand a topic within a few paragraphs.
